If my regular trash day falls on a holiday, when will my trash be picked up?

The only time that Transit Waste trucks do not run is on Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. If either of these two holidays falls on your regular trash pick-up day, Transit Waste will pick up trash on the next working day.

If my trash isn’t picked up on the day it is scheduled, who should I call?

Call the Utilities office at (970) 563-5500 or call Transit Waste directly at (505) 634-2510.

Does the Utilities Division accept Automatic Deduction payments?

Yes, if you work for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, you can set up payroll deductions. Southern Ute Tribal members also have the option of setting up Tribal Distribution deductions.
